I.CH Motion specialized in researching, developing and servicing electric motors. Our main products are dc gear motor, planetary gear motor, BLDC gear motor, stepper gear motor, ac gear motor, spur gearbox, planetary gearbox, gear parts, customized gear motor, etc. This article is to discuss more about the welding wire on the back cover pin of the geared motor.

The common method we use to connect wires to gear motors is to weld the wires (red positive , black negative ) to the pins on the rear cover, with the positive and negative pole of the pins being the same, and wrap the connection part with a heat shrinkable sleeve.

What causes poor wire connection? Let's take a look.

The surface of the welded product is not clean.

Sometimes the surface of the welding material is not clean, with rust, water, oil, and other stains, which may lead to the unstable welding joint.

The quality of the welding material is not good.

The quality of tin can also affect the success of welding. If the quality is too poor, the solder joint can easily fall off.

Different materials shall be welded with corresponding flux.

Sometimes the same material may use different flux when using different welding processes.

The flux is too much or too little.

Pay attention to the amount of flux during welding wires. Too much or too little flux is not conducive to this operation process.

There are some problems in the welding process, but we could deal with them if we could find the good precaution measures in advance. As a professional manufacturer of electric motors, gearbox, and high-precision gears with a small module, I.CH have an independent product design and R&D team, service team, and professional quality control team.
